Principal Newsletter

November 2017

November is the month of Thanksgiving and at Hayden Peak we have many things for which we are thankful, PTA being one example. They have had a busy first couple of months with Reflections, Safety Week, and their fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who participated in these events---each one was a success! Our PTA raised  $16,000 for our students. These funds will be used for field trips, student activities, and so much more.  Thank you for your support!  We have an amazing community!

We are so thankful for our teachers and the many hours they spend in behalf of our students. There are incredible things happening every day in our classrooms and we owe it to the dedication of our Hayden Peak teachers. This time of the year, they are busy getting ready to meet with parents and students during our Student-Led Conferences on November 8th and 9th.  Our students and teachers are excited to share all the many things they have been learning.

During the month of November, we have the opportunity to honor those who have served our country, in peace and war. We are thankful for these men, women, and families that sacrifice so much for our great country. We are fortunate to live in a country with so many of the freedoms we enjoy! On November 9th, we will honor those who have served and those currently serving in the Armed Forces with our Veteran’s Day program at 10:00 a.m.

Finally, we are grateful for our Hayden Peak parents! You have one of the most difficult, rewarding jobs and we are pleased to be a part of your children’s lives and help you in shaping their futures. Thank you for the time you spend at the school volunteering, reading, and helping with homework, and your support of our teachers and staff. Your involvement is very much appreciated!

We love Hayden Peak and our community of teachers, parents, students, and staff and are grateful to be a part of the wonderful things happening every day!
