When I am not teaching I love to be outside! I like boating, skiing, and exploring beautiful places with my family. I love the turquoise water of Bear Lake and the red rock of St. George. Digging in the dirt and taking care of plants is my idea of a Saturday well spent. Reading books, learning new things, and being inquisitive about the world around us is something that helps me continue to learn and become a better person. I believe that the two most important qualities a student can have in order to succeed is to work hard and choose a good attitude. Those two qualities will help any child become a successful student and person. I am grateful for the opportunity I have as an educator to learn and grow from being together in the classroom. Hayden Peak is a wonderful place to be.
I graduated from the University of South Florida in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I have taught 4th and 5th grades in Florida, New Mexico, and Indiana. I love to hike, cook, bake, garden and knit. I have 2 married children and 1 perfect grandson! I am so thrilled to be part of the Hayden Peak community!
