My name is Jenn Crawford and I love being a teacher at Hayden Peak! I have been working in and around education since 2005. I have been an employee of Jordan School District since 2013. I spent five years working with an amazing special education team at Blackridge Elementary as a para-educator. This inspired me to finish my degree in elementary education and I started my career as a teacher in 2020 at Hayden Peak.

When I am not teaching I love to be outside! I like boating, skiing, and exploring beautiful places with my family. I love the turquoise water of Bear Lake and the red rock of St. George. Digging in the dirt and taking care of plants is my idea of a Saturday well spent. Reading books, learning new things, and being inquisitive about the world around us is something that helps me continue to learn and become a better person. I believe that the two most important qualities a student can have in order to succeed is to work hard and choose a good attitude. Those two qualities will help any child become a successful student and person. I am grateful for the opportunity I have as an educator to learn and grow from being together in the classroom. Hayden Peak is a wonderful place to be.

Hello! My name is Michelle Lundgren. I have been teaching fourth grade at Hayden Peak since 2015. I have a BS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Utah (GO UTES!). I am half of the duo that runs the after school math program (NumberCrunchers), in preparation for our District-wide competition every spring. I have two children, who are both away at college. My husband and I enjoy going on road trips to see unique places in our great country. I like trying new foods and cooking new recipes. I also enjoy celebrating obscure holidays (Pi day is my FAVORITE!). I love to challenge my students, to show them that they CAN do it. I especially love to help students who struggle have “lightbulb moments”. Nothing makes teaching more rewarding than watching a student finally overcome the obstacles to their learning.

I graduated from Elementary Education from Brigham Young University in April 2008 and began teaching 6th grade at Welby Elementary in Jordan School District. After teaching one year at Welby I transferred over to Hayden Peak Elementary and continued teaching 6th grade for two more years. I then taught one year in 5th grade and 4th grade since 2012. I earned my English as a Second Language Degree from Southern Utah University in May 2013. I also graduated with my Masters Degree in Education with a Supervisory/Administration License from SUU in May 2015. In my free time I love spending time with my husband and two sons. We love to go on vacations/camping, drives in the mountains, watching movies, having campfires, and going out to eat.
