I am Christina MacNeil, better known as Mrs. Mac. I am the lower-grade Special Education teacher here at Hayden Peak. This will be my third year of teaching. I believe learning should be interactive, engaging, and most of all fun. I am married to a Murray City firefighter and have two sons. I love to read, camp, knit, and eat popcorn.
I have worked in education since 2011. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University. I lived in Lima, Peru for a year and a half doing service and learning Spanish. I worked with Special Education for four years. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Master’s degree in School Counseling from Capella University. I am a member of ASCA, USCA, Delta Alpha Pi, and Chi Sigma Lotta. My counseling focus is CBT, SFBT, and Person Centered. I will be supporting the Hayden Peak student body with their academic, career, and social/emotional developmental needs. I enjoy traveling with my family, baking, reading, and being in the great outdoors.
