Hayden Peak Families,

Our Winter Recess begins on Thursday, December 22nd and goes until January 2nd.  School will resume on Tuesday, January 3rd.

This Wednesday, 12/21, will be an early release day.

Grades 1-6 are dismissed at 12:25

Kindergarten AM - dismisses at 10:15

Kindergarten PM - dismisses at 12:25

The permit application window for next school year 2023-24 is now open.
Students currently attending on a school choice permit will not need to reapply for a permit if they are remaining at your school for the 2023-24 school year. Students who desire to move schools or any student currently on your school's 2022-23 waitlist must reapply to be considered for a 2023-24 permit.  Permit applications do not roll to the next year.

Dear Students, Staff and Patrons,

Snow is impacting the morning commute today with slippery conditions on roadways.

If an individual bus is going to be delayed, you will receive an alert.

Please know that parents may decide to keep children home due to adverse weather conditions. Schools understand and respect this decision and will work with families.

We urge caution on all roadways and sidewalks. We urge everyone to please allow extra time necessary for safe travel.

Also, be aware of slippery conditions while walking on school grounds, in parking lots, sidewalks and other walkways around our schools.

The safety of students, teachers and staff, as well as members of the community, is very important to us.

La nieve está afectando el viaje matutino de hoy con condiciones resbaladizas en las carreteras.

Si un autobús individual va a retrasarse, recibirá una alerta.

We hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving Recess.

Families,

We are having the annual Halloween Parade and parents are invited to come and watch.  The parade will start at 9:00am.  Students should come to school wearing their costumes.  Parents will go to the gym for the parade.

Students should be prepared to remove their costumes as quickly and easily as possible so the bathrooms are not crowded with students trying to change.  Teachers will let their students know when it is time to change.

Monday - "Drugs are scary, don't do them"  - Wear Halloween Costume

Tuesday - " Sock it to drugs!" - Wear your crazy socks!   

Wednesday - "Team up against drugs" - Wear your favorite sports team attire     

Thursday - "I mustache you not to do drugs!" - Wear a mustache

Red Ribbon Week Coloring Contest

  • Bring your colored paper back on Monday, October 31st and turn it at the office.
  • There will be 4 winners chosen from each grade level, Winners will receive a small prize.
  • Winning designs will be displayed in the school the remainder of the week.
