HAYDEN PEAK’S HALLOWEEN PARADE IS ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31ST

THE PARADE WILL BEGIN AT 9:00 A.M.

PARENTS ARE INVITED TO WATCH THE PARADE IN THE GYM.

STUDENTS SHOULD COME TO SCHOOL WITH THEIR COSTUMES AND MAKEUP ON AND READY TO START THE PARADE.

MASKS ARE ALLOWED ON STUDENTS FOR THE PARADE ONLY AND MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE PARADE. NO WEAPONS OR FACSIMILES THEREOF WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE SCHOOL.

PARENTS MAY NOT WEAR MASKS AND DRESS CODE WILL BE ENFORCED FOR BOTH STUDENTS AND PARENTS. 

CLASS PARTIES WILL FOLLOW THE PARADE THEN WE WILL RESUME A REGULAR SCHOOL DAY.

Hayden Peak PTA Harmony Choir
It’s time for a new season of Harmony to begin!  The choir leaders are Megan Toronto and Julie Weir.  We are excited to make music with your children.  The fall season will be a Christmas Program. We invite all 4th-6th graders to participate.  Choir will rehearse TUESDAYS before school at 7:30am.
 Important dates:  
Tuesday, September 24th -First day of Harmony
Wed. Nov 29-Dec. 2- Festival of Trees field trip and performance (exact date TBA)
Monday, December 4, 6:30 pm - Christmas concert assembly and evening performance

The PTA Reflections contest is a contest of the arts in 7 categories. It gives the children an opportunity to express themselves and get creative. Winners will move up to the council level. Then possibly region, state and national competition depending on if they keep moving forward after each round of judging. All submissions due online. School Community Council

--NOTICE--

Hayden Peak Elementary is seeking parent representatives for the School Community Council for 2024-2025.

We currently have openings for general membership, Vice-Chair and Secretary.

Elections, if needed, will be held September 16-19, 2024.

The first meeting being held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 7:30 a.m. in the Hayden Peak Conference Room.

The council meets a minimum of 4 times each year on Friday’s at 7:30 a.m. and consists of parents, teachers and administration. The School Community Council provides support and input to the school principal about issues of interest to the community and about the School LAND Trust Fund budget.

Meetings are scheduled for 9/20/23, 11/1/23, 1/24/25, and 4/25/25

If you are interested in participating in the School Community Council, please complete the attached application and return it to the office by no later than Friday, September 13th.

Hayden Peak Families,

Back to School Night is coming up on Tuesday, August 20th from 5:30pm until 7pm. Stop by anytime between 5:30 and 7:00pm to find your new classroom and meet your new teacher.

Spirit Wear

School Spirit T-shirts will be available for $8 (cash only) at Back to School Night. We only have a limited amount on hand, so make sure to stop by the PTA table to get yours.

If you don’t get a chance to purchase one at back to school night, we’ll provide details on how to order additional shirts once school starts.

Hayden Peak Families,

We are excited to welcome everyone back for another great school year! We will have our annual Back to School night on Tuesday, August 20th from 5:30pm until 7pm.  Stop by and meet your teacher!

Please complete your annual registration in Skyward as soon as possible.  This is where you will see what teacher your student has been assigned to.

The first day of school is on Wednesday, August 21st!

 

The Jordan School District announces its sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program. This program provides nutritious meals free of charge to children 18 years of age and younger.
