Dear Families,

Please see the attached letter from Miss Fisher and Mrs. Ford regarding the annual “Registration for School.”  When you have completed your "Registration for School" in Skyward you will be able to view your student(s) teacher names.  Please complete this as soon as possible, and before our Back To School Open House on Monday, August 16th so you know who your child’s teacher will be.

2021-2022 Registration for School Parent Letter

Back to School Night
Join us on August 16th, 2021 from 5:30 until 7pm. Come meet your teachers and grab a slice of pizza and a popsicle once you have made your rounds to your classroom and other stops along the way.

Fridays - In School
This school year, Fridays will be in-person days with an early release just like we had prior to the pandemic.  The Friday schedule will be at the normal start time of 8:30 with dismissal at 12:25.  Lunch will be served before students are dismissed.  If there is a Friday that is a day off then Thursday will be the early release day.

Free Breakfast and Lunch for ALL STUDENTS
The USDA has extended the free meal waiver for another year, or until funding runs out. That means all schools will serve free meals in the school cafeteria.

Attached is a copy of this year’s school calendar and Skyward instructions for registration.

Rocky Peak Virtual Elementary

If your family would like to continue with online learning, the district is currently taking registrations for their new online virtual elementary, middle, and high schools.  These virtual schools will be open for this school year.  If you would like to enroll, click on the link below.  Please note that you will be un-enrolling your students from their current boundary elementary school and enrolling them in the Rocky Peak Virtual Elementary School.  It is important that you complete your registration with Rocky Peak as soon as possible and let us know here at Hayden Peak as well.

Rocky Peak Virtual Elementary

We are excited to have everyone back here at school and look forward to a great school year!

Families,

You will receive an email this weekend inviting you to update your registration for this coming school year.  Once your registration has been updated in Skyward you will be able to see who your student's teacher will be.  You will have to complete this process for each of your students enrolled at Hayden Peak.

Select each JA elementary school program to access short videos and at-home activities. Each program includes two video options for each of its 5 sessions and an accompanying activity to reinforce learning. JA recommends that a caring adult watch the video and help guide the child through the activity.
